Data protection & SSL encryption

Based on Article 13 of the Swiss Federal Constitution and the Federal data protection provisions (Data Protection Act, DPA), every person has the right to protection of their privacy as well as protection against misuse of their personal data. We comply with these provisions. Personal data is treated with strict confidentiality and is neither sold nor shared with third parties.

We use an SSL certificate from Let’s Encrypt with 256-bit encryption across our entire website.

In close cooperation with our hosting provider, we strive to protect the databases as best as possible from unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or forgery. When accessing our websites, the following data is stored in log files: IP address, date, time, browser request, and general information transmitted about the operating system and browser. These usage data form the basis for statistical, anonymous evaluations that allow us to identify trends and accordingly improve our offerings.
